The round spring bars included in the Curt MV Weight Distribution System # C17063 referenced in your question measure 31.67 inches in length. The lift brackets on this system should be located a minimum of 33 inches from the center of the hitch ball.
This friction sway weight distribution system will do a very nice job of evenly distributing weight over the axles of your trailer and tow vehicle, along with reducing sway caused by winds, passing traffic or sudden maneuvers. The system has a tongue weight capacity of 1,000 to 1,400 pounds. You will want to make sure your total tongue weight, which includes the loaded tongue weight of your trailer along with any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle, falls somewhere within this range.
I have attached the complete installation instructions and a short video demonstration on this system that you can also check out.
