Recommended Lippert Trailair by Center Point Air Ride Trailer Suspension for Jayco Pinnacle 36fbts

Question:

My Jayco Pinnacle 36 fbts has Mor/ryde Lre at the center point now. I can see that the tires have rubbed the bottom or the slides and the u bolts on the axle have hit the frame. I want to gain 2 of clearance. Will replacing the Mor/ryde Lre with center point air ride accomplish that? Is the air ride an improvement in ride over my current suspension? Gaining room for travel is my main goal.

The Lippert Components Trailair by Center Point Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade - Tandem Axle # LC1565391 will give you the smoothest ride of any of our comparable suspension systems. It will give you an extra 2 inches of trailer rise, so your trailer would most likely not have any tire rub if you were to upgrade.

Your current system is more comparable to the Dexter E-Z Flex # K71-652-00 or Lippert Equa-Flex which both use rubber springs to cushion the ride. These are all really good systems that are far superior to the common non-cushioned equalizers, but the Air-Ride is on a different level. More than 85% of semi tractors choose to utilize this suspension style. It will not only give you the additional 2 inches of clearance, but it will also improve your ride and braking. It will dampen road shock and reduce the trailer movement known as chucking.

This system uses manual inflation valves, but you can use a compressor like the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Hand-Held Remote - Single Path # AL25980 to make the system adjustable at any time.
