Transmission Filter Relocation Kit # D13091 and Transmission Cooler # D13504
Question:
If I put a filter relocator on my tranny should I take the filter out of the tranny? If you leave it in and it gets plugged , you would damage the tranny. I dont like changing that filter that is why I would relocate, then i could change it more, like every time I do engine oil

You would not want to remove the internal filter in the transmission of your F250 if you were to install a Derale Remote Transmission Filter Kit, part # D13091. This kit is designed to aid in the filtration process but is not designed to be the sole fluid filter in your transmission. I would recommend you install this kit and also leave the internal filter in your transmission as well.
If you were to change the remote filter regularly you would not have to change your internal filter or transmission filter as frequently. Especially if you were to install a Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, part # D13504, like you referenced as well.
I attached an FAQ page on transmission coolers, as well as a video of one being installed on a vehicle for you to check out.
