How to ID Enclosed Trailer Wire When Installing Optronics LED Interior Light
Question:
I ordered this light up to replace the terrible peanut bulb style interior light on my 6x12 enclosed royal cargo trailer. Is the wiring on mine similar to the videos? black is power and white is ground? Im just very used to automotive wiring where black is ground, so wanted to double check thanks!

Yes, on the Optronics LED RV Interior Light, # RVILL34, the black wire will be the 12-volt power wire and the white wire will be the ground.
If you are having issues with finding which wire is power and ground on your trailer, then I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. Clip the alligator clip to the trailer and then probe the wires. When the tester lights up that wire will be your 12-volt power wire.
