Fuse Location to Install an Air Lift Wireless Compressor on a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

Ive got a 2015 Silverado 1500 installing an Air Lift wireless compressor. Cannot find a fuse underneath the hood in the fuse box that is on only when the ignition is on. Please advise. Do you guys know of any fuses that would work? Thanks

Expert Reply:

When installing an Air Lift wireless compressor system on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, like part # AL74000, a guaranteed fuse to use would be the one for the Radio. This is labeled as fuse 18 in the fuse panel that is on the passenger side of your instrument panel - you will need to pull off the cover to gain access.

A great way to know for sure if any of the other fuses will work is to use a Circuit Tester # PTW2992 and test different fuses before and and after you turn your Chevy on. If they have power only when your truck is on then you know you can use it!
