Question:
I want to install a coolant heater o my Sprinter 2500. On your website you mention that your heater can be installed on 3500 only. Please let me know if I can install one as well - why would it not work on 2500? Thank you

The Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater part # KH13150 is confirmed to fit a Dodge Sprinter 2500 from 2007-2009 with the 3.0 diesel engine.
To install the heater you will first need to drain the cooling system. Then cut the lower radiator hose in the middle of the hose and install the 1-1/2" Lower Radiator Hose Connector for Kat's Heaters Circulating Tank Heaters part # KH28115 into the lower hose and secure with two hose clamps.
Locate heater hose along right side bank of engine. Cut 4” out of the center of hose and install the y connector with two hose clamps. Mount tank bracket to sheet metal plate along right side wheel well. Mount as low and close to frame as possible. Mount heater tank in tank bracket and secure. Attach 5/8” green stripe heater hose from lower radiator hose to lower connection on heater tank and secure with hose clamps.
Attach 5/8” green stripe heater hose from y connector to upper connection of heater tank and secure with hose clamps. Attach electrical plug to grille and fasten with wire ties. Fill system with coolant and pressure test for leaks.
