How Level Does a Tow Bar Have to be When Flat Towing Vehicle
Question:
What is the desired angle range of a tow bar between or coach and tow vehicke? How far apart should the arms of the Blue Ix Alpha tow bar be range? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
I attached a picture that shows the height difference range that's acceptable for a tow bar. Basically it needs to be between 3 inches above or below level and you're good.
The part # RM-077-4 that you referenced can do a 4 inch rise/drop.
The Blue Ox Alpha part # BX7380 that you referenced can have the arms spaced between 16 and 36 inches.
