Recommended Gooseneck Hitch for 2017 Ram 2500 with 6-Foot Bed and Without Factory Rail Kit
Question:
I have a 2017 ram 2500. Was looking at adding a gooseneck hitch to it. I see the b w turnover kit and a curt kit. Is one better then the other? And do they both include the ball?

We do have several gooseneck hitch options for your 2017 Ram 2500 with 6-foot bed and without the factory rail kit that you can see on the linked page. All of these hitches from B&W, Curt and Draw-Tite include the 2-5/16-inch hitch ball and all offer no-drill installation.
I would go for either the B&W or the Curt since both offer the higher 30K weight capacity than the Draw-Tite # 9467.
Between the Curt and the B&W if cost is not the primary consideration go for the B&W. Their hitches, whether 5th wheel or gooseneck, are built as nice as anything out there. In fact the B&W # BWGNRK1384 weighs about 30% more than the Curt # C60614. The heavier steel construction in the B&W makes it my recommendation, if the truck has coil springs. If not, you can use the Curt.
