Weight Distribution Shank or Ball Mount with 6 Inches of Drop to Tow Trailer Level
Question:
My Ford F350 Pick up hitch is too high to pull a camper, level. I thought I found the adapter, but they all say, not for towing campers. It appears that an RV towing a car behind is okay. The hitch that came with the camper has sway bars attachments. I need to find something like the high low adapter. Please advise what you have that would work. I need a 4 - 6inch drop. Thank you

It sounds like the trailer has a weight distribution system. You would just need a weight distribution shank that offers more drop such as # C17123 for a 2 inch hitch receiver or # EQ90-02-4900 for a 2-1/2 inch hitch.
If the trailer does not have weight distribution then you will just need a ball mount that has the proper amount of drop or an adjustable ball mount. For a fixed ball mount with 6 inches of drop for a 2 inch hitch you can use # 4282. For a 2-1/2 inch hitch you can use cushioned ball mount # AMSCV-6. I have also included a link to our adjustable ball mounts and videos for each of the ball mounts listed above.
