B&W Pintle Hook Mounting Plate for 2" Hitches - 13" Shank - 14 Hole - 16,000 lbs Item # BWPMHD14004 measures 10-1/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the mounting plate for a pintle hitch.
If you were to then add something like Pintle Hook, Bolt-On, 10K Item # C48205 with this setup you would be looking at a total extension of about 15 inches so it probably won't stick out far enough to clear a lowered tailgate on your truck.
B&W Pintle Hook Mounting Plate for 2" Hitches - 15" Shank - 14 Hole - 16,000 lbs Item # BWPMHD14005 is 2-3/8 inches longer so that will help but still may not be long enough. If you can tell me how much extension you need I can see what we have that will work.
Another option is to use one of the pintle mounts above and replace the tailgate with a tailgate net, # TR-03. Regarding feeling the lunette ring moving around on the pintle that is something that cannot be avoided. The ring has to be slightly larger than the pintle hook to fit around it easily. This creates space between the ring and pintle so you are going to get some movement and there isn't really a way around it.
