Installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76138 on a 2017 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Can you please provide details or photos of the part mentioned that needs to be permanently removed from the vehicle. Will this void the warranty? How important is this part to the vehicle? I need to haul 4 bikes using a Thule T2 Pro XTB 9034XT. Also can you provide recommendations where this product can be installed in my area. 2017 Mazda CX-5 GT AWD

There is a plastic underbody panel that is underneath the rear bumper which is removed by taking out the 2 plastic fasteners. This piece is cosmetic and will not void the warranty by being removed. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76138 will actually sit in the same place that the panel was removed from. Since you are wanting to carry 4 bikes, be sure to consult your owner's manual to ensure that you can do it safely.
Any local shop will be able to install this hitch receiver pretty easily. I recommend calling around to get the best deal.
The Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV with 2-bike add on # TH9036XT is an excellent option for carrying your 4 bikes.
I have attached some videos on these products for you to review.
