Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2007 Toyota Camry

Can i get a hitch with a 2 inch receiver for a 07 Camry? I have a bike rack with 2 inch

I have a couple of solutions for you but there isn't a 2 inch hitch available for the 2007 Toyota Camry. One solution is to use a hitch expander such as # MHTAD. While this does allow you to use a 2 inch accessory with a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch. There is 1 side effect; the use of an expander reduces the tongue weight capacity of a trailer hitch by 50 percent. You will also need a hitch pin # PC2.

So for Draw-Tite hitch # 36416 the tongue weight capacity would be reduced to 150 pounds. The combined weight of the bike rack and the bikes could not exceed 150 pounds.

Option 2 is to replace the bike rack you have with a version that is compatible with a Class II, 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch. If you can tell me how many bikes and what types they are I will be happy to make some recommendations.

We have Curt # C18085 two-bike rack. These racks are inexpensive, versatile (they hold the bikes are the wheels), and light weight. Will hold 2 bikes weighing up to 45 pounds. I linked a couple of videos of these racks for you.
