Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Coupe
Question:
I have 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 2 door. I found this hitch that says its for 99 Grand Prix. The Video Shows a Grand Prix SE. Will this hitch work for my GT model. Please note the GT comes with a Stock ground effect making the rear bumper hang a little lower.. Thanks

We do have trailer hitches that are specifically designed to fit the GT model of the 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix. You can use the Curt # C12225. I have included a link to the installation details for reference.
If you plan on doing some towing, the recommended ball mount is # 36065 for use in the rise position only. For a pin and clip, use # PC2. For a ball, you can use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 16258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you can use 4-Pole Hardwire Kit Including Circuit Tester, # 18252. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation of this wiring harness.
