I thought this would be great for my pontoon boat! Why are you recommending the inside angled guide-ons instead of the outer bunk rails?

The Bunk Style Guide-Ons # CE27671 are designed specifically for pontoon boats because they're shorter and install vertically. See the picture I've attached.

However, depending on your trailer the 60 inch Guide-Ons # CE27600 that install horizontally may be better for you. Even though it isn't what we typically see.

Due to the nature of pontoon boat trailers and the fact that pontoon guides like the part #CE27671 mount vertically and not horizontally you want shorter guides. Check out the picture I attached for more info.

The type of pontoon boat won't be relevant, so the CE Smith Bunk Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers #CE27671 will work so long as its trailer frame is up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall.
