Recommended Transmission Cooler For 1999 Ford F150 With A 5.4L Engine

Question:

I have 7800lb 5th wheel and a 1999 F150 with a 5.4l engine. Will this combination work? I used a VIN decoder to get all the info on the truck and it looks like im just under its weight limit. I drove the combo around but have not had it in the mountains yet. Thanks

With your 1999 Ford F-150, you are right at the max weight for a 5th wheel trailer with your truck. If you plan on taking it into the mountains, I recommend adding a transmission cooler like the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class III - Efficient # D13503.
