Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have a 2014 Honda CRV. Debating between Curt 13119 and the Draw-Tite 75742. Will mostly be using it for a hitch-mounted bicycle rack but also do plan to attach a tow trailer to pull my Vespa ~400 lbs. Thoughts? Thanks

For your 2014 Honda CR-V the hitch I would recommend is the Draw Tite part # 75742 that you referenced. Reason being that with this hitch you don't have to use a stabilizer strap with non-supported loads like bike racks which is what Curt recommends. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
For trailer wiring you'd then want the Tekonsha part # 118561 that is also a confirmed fit.
Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
