If the 7 pin Pollak connector that you bought is the Pollak Heavy-Duty, 7-Pole, Round Pin, Trailer Wiring Connector # PK11700 then when you are looking at the connector here is what the different functions will be:

12 o'clock - White-Ground
2 o'clock - Brown-Tail/Running Lights
4 o'clock - Green-Right Turn/Hazard
6 o'clock - Red-Stop Lamps
8 o'clock - Yellow-Left Turn/Hazard
10 o'clock - Black-Clearance/Marker
Center - Blue-Auxiliary Circuit

If instead you have the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector # PK12706 then when you are looking at the connector the different functions will be:

1 o'clock - Green-Tail/Running Lights
3 o'clock - Red-Left Turn/Stop
5 o'clock - White-Ground
7 o'clock - Blue-Brake Controller Output
9 o'clock - Brown-Right Turn/Stop
11 o'clock - Black-12V Power
Center - Yellow-Reverse Lights

I have attached some photos to help demonstrate these pin locations for you.

You might also want to try testing your trailer with a separate power source like a different vehicle or 12V battery to ensure all of the functions on your trailer are working properly.
