What is the Wire Gauge Used for the Dexter Predator Brake Controller for a 2008 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Replacing a Draw-tite Activator with this new Predator because the Dexter Actuator does not recommend a TIMED controller like the Draw-tite is. What size butt-connectors are needed for the electrical connections? After watching the videos available it looks like a easy swap out. Hopefully its going to be delivered tomorrow and I want to have the correct connectors. Thanks!

No problem, I'm happy to help. I went out to the warehouse with our little wire gauge measuring tool to measure the wires on the Dexter Predator # 58-8. They all came up as 14 gauge (btween 12 and 14 but closer to 14). So a butt connector such as # DW05714 would work for the installation.
