Trailer Hitch Receiver to Fit 2008 Saab 9-3 Convertible
Question:
I have a 2008 Saab 9-3 Convertible - one exhaust pipe. I need a hitch to use for a bike rack only, nothing heavy. I want it to be as invisible as possible. I cant tell which one you have fits, does the Curt fit? Can you let me know and the cost please. Also, is this something I can do myself, I am handy but I havent done a hitch install before. Can you email me the mounting instructions so I can see if I can tackle it myself? Thank you very much.

Since your 2008 Saab 9-3 is a convertible and not a SportCombi you'll use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11326. I've attached both the instructions as well as an install video to this page for you to take a look at. The install is considered a 7 out of 10 difficulty by Curt so it is more labor intensive than some but it can be performed by someone who has mechanical skills and proper tools.
Since you're going to use the hitch to carry a bike rack you'll need to use a support strap like # 18050. Curt's warranty requires a strap whenever using the hitch to carry anything other than a trailer like a bike rack or cargo carrier.
