Distance Between Bikes on the Saris SuperClamp Platform Bike Rack
Question:
Hi, Im thinking about buying two electric fat bikes and using this rack. Im concerned that mounting both bikes will result in pedal interference between the two because there isnt much space. I ran into this problem with my Thule Easy Fold rack and after a lot of fiddling with pedal orientation and wrapping with old socks to avoid damage I purchased two sets of quick-release pedals and now remove them when hauling. Am I going to have the same problem with the Saris Super Clamp? Thanks.

I can't say for sure if your bike's pedals will be an issue on the Saris SuperClamp EX # SA4025F because there really isn't a way to know without putting the bikes on it. The wheel trays do slide to help prevent contact however, they will be pretty close together and it could be an issue for you. Between the wheel scoops from center to center there is 8 inches.
You'll also need the Fat Tire Adapter # SA4419.
The SuperClamp EX has a max weight capacity of 60 pounds per bike, which is quite high, but you'll want to make sure the electric fat bikes don't exceed this.
