4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness for 2009 Ford Edge
Question:
I have a 2009 Ford Edge. I want a simple trailer harness just for signal and lights. Is there a plug and tow type harness for my vehicle? I dont need a brake module. Im just hauling a little harbor freight trailer. Also where would I plug it in? I seen videos where they go to the tail lights. I dont want to go that route. Thank you

We do offer 4-pole trailer wiring harness kits for your 2009 Ford Edge that will provide stop/turn/tail light functions to your trailer's lights. All available items are shown on the linked page.
Each of these installs in the same way by 1) plugging in at your Edge taillights and by 2) routing one single 12V power wire up to the engine compartment for connection to the battery. This is the only type of aftermarket harness offered for your car. Of the three I recommend the Tekonsha kit # 118551 for its higher overall current output capacity.
I linked a helpful article and an install video to illustrate the process. I also included two helpful articles on towing that may be of interest to you.
