Trailer Hitch Recommendation for the Back of a 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
We recently bought a 1997 Keystone Sprinter Fifth Wheel so we can stop getting robbed by hotels while on the road for business. We need to tow our hoof trimming trailer behind the camper. How do we know which hitch will work best for our needs? There are a ton to choose from. Thanks!

I recommend Curt hitch # 13703 for your trailer because it is the most versatile. This hitch will fit box, C-Channel, and I-Beam frames. It can be bolted or welded on (welding should be done by a professional welder). And it fits frame widths of 22 to 72 inches. Frame width is measured from the outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other frame rail. Because it fits so many different applications it is the best option to fit your trailer.
Keep in mind that towing a trailer behind another trailer is illegal in some states so be sure to check ahead of time (State Police would be the best bet for that information).
