How to Pick Out the Correct Ball Mount for 2015 Honda Civic
Question:
If you know the size wheel on the trailer, cant you just halve that for the trailer level height I.e. 12inch tire/wheel should = 6???

The best way to determine which amount of rise or drop you need from a ball mount (in order to keep your hitched trailer level for the best handling) is to measure as outlined in the linked article. Since the same wheel size could have more than one tire size on it that does not give you the best method for choosing a ball mount.
