Recommended Cargo Carrier For 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver
Question:
Any help to find a cargo carrier for a class 1 hitch with a 1.25inch receiver for a small car that can carry 200 lbs if possible would be amazing. About 160-170lbs is the item Id be putting on the carrier a music rack case - Im really hoping there is a carrier that weighs 30 lbs or less that I can use safely. Need 21inch x 25inch minimum specs totally fine with it staying small

We have two cargo carriers that fit 1-1/4 inch hitches:
The Reese # 63155 that weighs about 43 pounds and has inside dimensions of 47-7/8" long x 20" wide x 5-1/2" tall and the Curt # C18145 that weighs 29 pounds with Inside dimensions: 46-3/8" long x 17-9/16" wide x 5-1/2" deep. It doesn't look like the size of either of these carriers will meet your need.
If you provide your vehicle information, we could explore a roof rack and cargo roof basket for you.
