Question:
The tires we have on our boat trailer are Dexstar 17-231 04/21/10, 15x5 JJ 1820 lb. Is the Dexstar tire with code AM20422 a match for the two we have?? We need a rim for our spare. Thank you.

If your trailer has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern then the item you selected, Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel, part # AM20422 is a match. You will need to measure the bolt pattern of your trailer (see FAQ).
The Dexstar Wheel # AM20422, is a 15x5 wheel, with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and has a load capacity of 1,820 pounds at 50 PSI.
If you have a 5 on 5 bolt pattern, you will need Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel, part # AM20428, which is also a 5x15 wheel with a load capacity of 2,150 pounds.
You always want to have the tires of your trailer inflated to the maximum PSI rating at all times. If they are not inflated to maximum PSI, the thick sidewalls can heat up and wear faster than normal.
I have linked an FAQ Article and video that shows you how to measure the bolt pattern of your trailer wheel that you may find as a good reference.
