Recommended 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness for 2012 Toyota Yaris
Question:
i have a 2012 yaris 2 door, and i need a wiring harness. not sure if i need a powered harness or not. could you recommend which harness i will need? i will be towing just a small 4x4foot trailer. Thanks

You will want to use a powered type 4-pole wiring harness in your Yaris to help protect the car's wiring from any potential damage from faults or shorts in the trailer wiring. I suggest the powered harness kit # C59236 from Curt. This kind of harness avoids drawing current for the trailer lights through the car's own wiring, and instead delivers it from the battery via the included black wire.
