How To Select Weight Distribution Shank For FastWay e2 System And 2016 Chevrolet Suburban
Question:
I purchased a new 2016 Suburban and have the E2 Trunnion Part #92-00-0800 square bar weight distribution system. However I need a new Shank in order to have my trailer level with the extra height of my suburban. Note the trailer ball is @ 17.5. What size Shank should I get to match the height of my Suburban?

I have attached a link to the Fastway e2 weight distribution shanks we offer.
To make sure you select the correct shank you can take a couple of measurements. With the trailer level and the towing vehicle level and unhooked you can measure the distance from the top of the receiver opening to the ground. Then measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler. Then select a shank that is closest to the difference between the hitch and coupler height.
I also attached a link to a helpful article that explains how to choose the correct.
