Weight Distribution System Recommendation for 600 lb Tongue Weight Trailer
Question:
I have a 2011 Toyota Sienna LE AWD V6 and would like to tow trailer with these specs: Shipping Weight lbs. 3,205 Dry Hitch Weight lbs. 453 Cargo Capacity lbs. 645 Height 8foot 8 Length 21foot 5 Am I correct in saying that Trunnion system is slightly more stable, easier to use and allows you to reverse without removal? Is this suitable WDS for my application? Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW Item # C17500 Thank you

Trunnion systems are typically preferred because they have better ground clearance and typically higher weight capacities. Whenever available I recommend them for most setups. Your loaded tongue is most likely going to be between 500 and 600 lbs so for a weight distribution system for that I would recommend the Strait Line part # RP66083 as it has trunnnion bars, has a tongue weight capacity of 400-800 lbs and has a sway control system that works to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
