What is the Correct Tire Pressure for Trailer Tires

Im new to 5th wheels and wanted to make sure Im getting proper inflation on my tires. I have the Trailer King ST235/80R16 tires. Is 80 PSI the correct number for that tire cold? Thanks!

Trailer tires are designed to be kept inflated to their max PSI that is listed on the sidewall of the tire. You will want to inflate the tires when they are cold.

So what you need to do is check the sidewall of your tires and find where it says the max tire pressure rating. That's what you should inflate the tire to when cold and you will be good. This ensures you get the full tire weight capacity as well as speed rating. Lower tire pressure allows the sidewall to flex which causes heat build up.
