To determine whether the # TH934XTR Hitching Post Pro 4-bike rack will work on your 2007 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited, you will need to measure to determine how much clearance your application requires.
The # TH934XTR bike rack measures 11-7/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the point where the bike rack stands upright. Measure from the center of your hitch pin hole on the vehicle to a point just past your spare tire. If this distance is less than 11-7/8 inches, then the Roadway bike rack will fit on your vehicle. You can see a video review on this rack at the link provided.
If you do need more clearance on the bike rack, I would not recommend using an extender. Any time you add an extender to the equation, the hitch capacity is decreased by half, so this is not an ideal solution for carrying an accessory or towing long term.
An adapter bar like part # TH982XT is normally required to allow womens and alternative frame bikes to sit level on dual arm bike racks like the two models we discussed.
