Recommended 5th Wheel Rails And Hitch For 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD And Custom Wedge

I have a 2017 chevy 2500hd arriving this month to pull a 2017 Rockwood Signature Ultralite. We will order the Reese hitch and appropriate wedge. Which rail and mounting kit goes with this hitch? It says they are sold separately.

For your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with 6-1/2 foot bed, you have two option for rails. Above bed rails that are the standard for many years, or an underbed rail kit that is similar to the new factory puck system.
For the newer style under bed rail kit, you would want the # RP30868 compatible with the Reese M5 Hitch # RP30921. This will use custom wedge # RP44FR for your revolution pin box. The benefit is this system gives you a completely clean bed when not using your 5th wheel as no rails are present.
For the standard style rails with custom bracket I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Outboard Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56001-53. These rails will allow you to use the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw - 20,000 lbs, # RP30928. This will also use the custom wedge # RP44FR for your Revolution pin box.
