Will Rock Tamers or Roadwing Removable Mud Flaps Fit Ball Mount, # DTALBM6600, 2002 Ford F-250
Question:
Can you mount Rock Tamers on This ball mount?

I went out to the warehouse and measured the Self-Locking Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount, # DTALBM6600, so you would be able to determine if you would be able to mount your Rock Tamers or another mud flap product. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank (just prior to the curved portion) it measures 3-3/16 inches.
You will need to measure from the center of your hitch pin hole back to the face of the trailer hitch receiver and subtract that from 3-3/16 inches. The space left over would have to be great enough for your Rock Tamers. On the Roadwing, 2 inches of space is needed between the face of the receiver and the downward shaft of the ball mount.
