For your 2016 GMC Acadia with little to no clearance, you will definitely want class S compatible chains. There are three different size tire options for a factory Acadia, so I'll give you the best recommendation for each size.
For 255/55-20 Tires, we currently do not have any Class S options.
For 255/60-19 Tires, I recommend the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains - 1 Pair # PW2028C. This is the only Class S option we have for this size tire, and they are a decent tire chain. They are made of low-carbon steel and have spring rollers wrapped around sturdy wire cross cable. They are good for occasional use and are easy to install. You will need rubber adjusters like # PW105 for this installation.
For 255/65-18 Tires, I recommend the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K77 # TH02230K77. These are the best option, but for a more cost effective option I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - 1 Pair # TC2326. These are made of manganese nickel alloy and have nice traction is snow with the square links. The diamond-pattern gives more tire coverage for increased traction and stopping power. It has integrated tensioners for a controlled fit.
You may want to consult your owners manual for restrictions.
