Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2017 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
I have a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek that I am putting a hitch on. Can you tell me which wiring harness you would recommend? I would prefer one that would actually mount to the hitch. The videos that I have seen on your site seem to have the wiring inside the trunk and pulled out when needed closing the hatch on the wires. Thanks

For your 2017 Subaru Crosstrek the wiring harness I would recommend is the part # 118467 which is a confirmed fit and because the Tekonsha brand of wiring harnesses has shown to be the most reliable of all of the kits we offer.
It may not seem like it, but storing the trailer wiring on the interior of the vehicle is actually the preferred way. It keeps the connector dry so corrosion doesn't develop and you don't have to worry about debris on the highway damaging it.
