Fifth Wheel Towing Solution for 2016 Toyota Tundra with 5-1/2 foot Bed

There really isn't a solution for towing a fifth wheel trailer with your 2016 Toyota Tundra with a 5-1/2 foot bed that allows you to keep the B and W gooseneck hitch. Normally we have to recommend a Sidewinder pin box for the needed clearance but you can't use Sidewinders with Companion hitches.

The other solution you have is to replace the gooseneck with fifth wheel rails and use the only sliding fifth wheel hitch we offer that gives the needed clearance to make tight turns, the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550040 which can slide 22-1/2 inches.

You would want to go with a custom install fifth wheel rail kit like part # RP50084-58 which is custom fit for your truck.
