Do Titan Tire Chains TC2828CAM Fit 2016 Ram 1500

Question:

You show this this chain set being installed on a 2016 Ram 1500 in your videos. Ram says class s class chains only in their owners manual. Are you saying this chain is OK on the RAM trucks? Thanks

We can't speak on behalf of RAM trucks on what they recommend for their trucks. But we did happen to successfully install the Titan Chains part # TC2828CAM on a 2016 RAM 1500. I attached the mentioned install video for you to check out as well.

We have found that manufacturers really like to be cautious with the fit of tire chains on their vehicles. We also know that some people will install chains on vehicles that aren't recommended for tire chains so there is an element of fit confusion that's hard to avoid. What we recommend in cases like this is to check with a RAM dealer local to you or one that is local to an area that require tire chains and see what they recommend. You can also send them the install video I attached and see if they will endorse an exception in your case.

Also in some cases different size tires affect the tire chain fit recommendations.
