Is an Adapter Needed to use Reese Tow Bar with Roadmaster Base Plates
Question:
I have a Reese brand tow bar split rail from autozone, will it connect directly to this base plate model or will I need an adaptor.

You will need an adapter to attach your Reese tow bar to the Roadmaster base plates. The adapter is # RM-025. But check the specs on your Reese tow bar because I believe it is the same as # 63180. And if that is the case then it is only rated for 45 miles per hour. I would consider using a different tow bar that is a direct fit to the base plates and does not have a 45 mile per hour speed restriction such as the Falcon 2 # RM-520, or even the Tracker # RM-020.
