How to Allow Purple Wire of ETBC7 Kit to Carry Brake Light Signal
Question:
The video showing how to install the brake controller and the universal wiring kit found here: ETBC7 Shows that there is a purple wire reverse light in diagram coming from the 7-blade connector. In this instructional installation video, the connection is just left under the car, is there any way to find out how to install this to make the brake lights on my trailer work? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
If you wanted to use the purple wire circuit of the # ETBC7 to power a third brake light you would have to install a converter like part # RM-732 on the wiring of your vehicle to activate that circuit as a brake light.
Then you would run wire from that pole on the 7-way to your brake lights.
