Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2017 GMC Acadia Limited
Question:
There is a note that says the 76023 hitch is not a confirmed fit for the 2017 GMC Acadia Limited. Can you explain as I dont want a hassle putting this on. Thanks

Trailer Hitch Receivers are a custom fit for each vehicle, sometimes a certain series of a make/model are a different fit. This is the case with the with your 2017 GMC Acadia Limited. The frame on your specific vehicle requires a different mount style than that of the Draw-Tite # 76023 you referenced.
The hitch receiver I recommend for your vehicle is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2", # 75528. This is an easy bolt on installation. The complete hardware kit and installation instructions are included. I've attached a video of the installation on a 2016 GMC Acadia. This should be a fairly hastle-free install. This hitch receiver has a 750 lb tongue weight rating and a 5,000 lb trailer weight rating.
If you will be towing with this hitch receiver, you will also need a ball mount and hitch ball. I'd recommend the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit for 2 inch Hitches, # 989900. This kit will allow you different options for the trailer you tow to be level and fit correctly.
You will also need wiring to complete your towing system. I'd recommend the T-One Vehicle wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package-4-Pole Flat, # 118270. This is a confirmed fit plug and play harness for your 2017 GMC Acadia Limited. I've included an installation video for you.
