Option to Lower Hitch Height for Use with Bike Rack to Make Loading Easier

Question:

I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra 4x4. Currently have a 2inch receiver hitch. I purchased a platform bicycle rack. Do to the rear end of the trucks height, the platform rack sits higher than I prefer. Is there a adapter that would lower by 4 to 6 inches and not add much if any extension? The other option may be a whole new hitch that would sit 4 to 6 inches below the bumper? Any suggestions? Thanks

We have the Roadmaster High Low adapter part # RM-048-6 which would allow you to lower the overall hitch height by 6 inches. Only thing to keep in mind is that this cuts the capacity of the hitch it is used on by 50 percent.
