Taller Trailer Tire Recommendation to Replace 4.80-12
Question:
I currently have a trailer that I am using for camping equipment. Small 4x5 trailer. It uses a 4.80-12 wheel currently. But I was looking into bigger wheels or just a different tire that would allow me to use it Alittle off road and better for the highway. I cannot go with a wider tire but I can move my fenders up so that clearance is not a problem.

Expert Reply:
The biggest tire we have that would fit the wheels you have on your trailer would be a 5.30-12. It would only be 1.5 inches taller though. For that you would need the part # AM10068. This would be slightly wider by about 1/2 an inch.
