Availability of a 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness for 2011 Ford Edge SEL AWD
Question:
Last week I bought a 2011 Ford Edge SEL AWD. The only option the 2011 Edge did not have on it was the tow package. I had the Class II hitch installed without a problem, but now I need the wiring harness to provide a 4 pin trailer connector. Do you have a recommendation?

Expert Reply:
For your 2011 Edge, I'd recommend the Tow Ready vehicle wiring harness, part # 118515. The wiring harness plugs inline with the connection between the factory wiring harness and the vehicle taillight assemblies. You'll need to run one wire under the vehicle up to the positive battery terminal.
I'll link you an FAQ article and an install video that you might find helpful.
