Will Hopkins Wiring Harness 42615 Work on a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Towing a Trailer with 4-Way Wiring

hi,i need to hook a trailer up to my 2000 jeep wrangler.i bought a basic wiring kit for the trailer,that has the 4 prong hook up.im pretty sure i need an adapter,but im not 100 pecent.do you know if this is the adapter i need? thanx.

Yes, the Hopkins plug-in wiring harness # 42615 would work well on your 2000 Jeep Wrangler, and give you the required 4-Way plug to connect to your trailer.

This wiring harness is connected underneath the vehicle, on the passenger's side, behind the rear tire mud flap.

I would recommend a mounting bracket like part # 18144 to store the plug when not in use.
