Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2016 Nissan Juke Nismo
Question:
What is limiting the installation on the nismo model of the Juke? I am looking at purchasing a Juke Nismo, but would still like to have the ability to put a bike rack on it or tow a small boat.

I have a bike rack solution for you, but when I spoke to our manufactures and they told me that the Nismo would not have a hitch fit because of the configuration of the frame and cross supports that are necessary for a performance automobile to achieve the needed strength to operate as designed.
My number one recommendation for you to transport your bikes is with a roof mounted bike rack. To do this you will first need a roof rack system like the Thule Evo Clamp # TH145098, 47 inch SquareBars # TH712200, with custom Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501. This would then allow you to mount a bike rack like the Thule UpRide # TH599000 to the roof.
Another option is to get a trunk mounted bike rack like the Thule Gateway # TH45JV. This 2-bike, 2- strap bike rack is one of the most popular trunk mounted bike racks in the market today. If you plan on transporting any alternative framed bikes, like most women's bikes are, you will need the use of an adapter bar for this bike rack like the # UB01, this will allow for the bikes to mount properly to the rack and give you the best ground clearance.
I cannot recommend you tow a small trailer without a hitch and since our manufacture's didn't deem your vehicle a fit for a trailer hitch because of the performance trim you will not be able to tow your small boat with the Juke Nismo.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
