Recommended Bike Carrier for Use on StarCraft Comet 1220 Pop-Up Travel Trailer
Question:
Trying to find if there is a bolt on hitch receiver for a StarCraft Comet 1220 so we can put our bike rack on the back.

I reviewed photos of your StarCraft Comet 1220 pop-up and it appears to have a 2 x 4-inch c-channel type rear bumper. This is not strong enough to allow using a bolt-on hitch like Curt # C19101 so your best option for carrying bikes on the trailer is to use the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275.
The bike bunk installs at the front of your a-frame trailer and allow you to install a 2-inch RV-rated bike carrier like one of those shown on the linked page.
Please note that standard hitch racks intended for passenger cars are not suitable for use on a trailer. When installed on a trailer a bike rack will be subjected to more vertical and lateral stresses and so specially-designed racks are required for use on RVs.
My favorite option is the cost-effective Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650. This rack offers a winning combination of low price, light weight, bike weight capacity (70-lbs total) and the flexibility to work in both 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches on either an RV or passenger car. Not all racks can work on RVs.
For use with it we offer hitch lock # SHP2082 and bike cable lock # e98891.
