Replacement Stud or Hub/Drum for Broken Stud on Trailer Hub
Question:
Hi, Ive one broken stud on a trailer wheel and am wondering if I can still drive with it. There are 5 studs on each wheel, it is a single-axle trailer with an 18foot boat on it. Thanks.

You might be able to get away with it for a while, but I cannot recommend driving with a broken stud on one of your trailer hubs. Fortunately we do offer both replacement studs and new hubs.
I linked our main page for hub/drum parts such as drive-in and screw-in wheel studs like # K12WB2 and # 25-53. I also linked our page for hub/drum assemblies in case you prefer to simple replace the bad hub. Be sure to confirm your wheel bolt pattern (there are several 5-stud bolt patterns - please see linked article), axle weight rating and bearings used in your hub to ensure compatibility.
