Will Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator Fit 4 Inch Tall Trailer Tongue
Question:
I currently have the atwood 6k lb manual lock out welded to the trailer. Im looking to replace it with the Titan T43397007K which is, as Im sure you know, a bolt on. The height of the frame of which the actuator would be welded to is 4inch tall, with a 4inch gap. The Atwood has an interior gap of 3, same as the Titan. So. Could the Titan be welded in place of the Atwood? If not, would it be a matter of Just trimming the bottom lip of the Titan?

You will need to measure the outside dimension of the trailer tongue you are wanting to mount the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator, part # T43397007K on to.
It is designed to fit over a 3-inch wide tongue. If your tongue measures 3 inches wide then the # T43397007K will work well for you. This actuator will work with 1-7/8 inch, 2 inch or 50 mm hitch balls and has a capacity of 7,000-lbs.
