No separate or additional converter is needed for the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118361 for your 2003 Nissan Pathfinder. All plugs and converters needed for the wiring harness to combine your vehicle's separate wiring system are included. You will simply need to plug the harness into your Pathfinder's wiring behind the left and right vehicle taillights, as seen in the video I've attached.
In the video, our installer is able to ground the vehicle wiring harness to an existing ground screw. If you cannot locate an existing ground screw, you can use a self-tapping screw, like # FA1131822, to ground the wiring harness to a clean, bare metal location on your vehicle. It is best to ground the harness somewhere the sheet metal is doubled.
The Tow Ready T-One # 118361 will provide your Pathfinder with a 4-Way flat trailer connector. This will supply right turn/stop, left turn/stop, and taillights to a trailer or lighted cargo carrier.
