Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2015 Porsche Cayenne S-E Hybrid
Question:
Hello, I know that you guys offer the C13136 hitch for this vehicle but my question is about the wiring. Since Porsche doesnt officially support a hitch on this vehicle, and since wiring up the trailer lights requires the dealer to reprogram something on the vehicle to prevent computer error messages and correct transmission programming, what do you offer to help me wire up the trailer lights?

Expert Reply:
The only trailer wiring harness that will work with the 2015 Porsche Cayenne is going to be # 119250KIT. There is no splicing required for this kit and it powers the trailer lights from the vehicle battery. The harness has connectors that clamp around the vehicle tail light wiring and sense when current is passing through them. It's pretty awesome.
