The Curt Class I Receiver Hitch # C11900 that you referenced is confirmed to fit all models of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, so it will work well for your Camaro SS to carry a Class I compatible bike rack.
I checked the instructions to see if any bumper fascia trimming is required for this hitch on your vehicle. The instructions indicated that the center, inside, lower edge of the fascia may need to be trimmed if necessary, and that the hitch is intentionally designed to be close to the fascia at the center. I spoke with my contact at Curt to see if they have run into any SS models that they know needed bumper fascia trimming, and he confirmed that they are not aware of any trimming needed for the # C11900 hitch on a 2016 Camaro SS.
I have attached the installation instructions for you.
If you are needing a Class I hitch compatible bike rack, I recommend the Kuat Beta # B202-114. I have attached a review video of this bike rack on a similar 2012 Camaro for you. When using a bike rack or cargo carrier on this curt hitch, you are required to also use the stabilizer strap # 18050 to support the load.
